چکیده
Hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2, HAp) is a calcium phosphate-based biomaterial that widely used in bone implants due to its similarity composition with the constituent elements of bone. However, HAp still has poor mechanical properties, so research was carried out improve properties such as reduced brittleness, less fracture resistance, and denser structure by synthesizing composites PEG. This study PEG filler matrix. synthesized from blood clam shells (Anadara granosa) using sol-gel method. HAp-PEG composite in-situ method various concentrations 40, 50, 60, 70, 80%. FTIR characterization showed presence functional groups PO43− CO23−, which indicated HAp. Analysis XRD pattern crystal size 24.194 nm. SEM-EDX needle-shaped morphology obtained Ca/P ratio 1.87. DTA results weight loss 65.72% at temperature > 200 °C. A degradation test also see percentage be degraded, optimum degraded increasing days had concentration 70%.

Polyethylene glycol dinitrates (PEGN) with molecular weights between 400 and 20 000 g·mol-1 were prepared from polyethylene glycols by esterification with nitric acid/sulfuric acid in dichloromethane. The products were characterized by gel permeation chromatography. The yield of PEGN increases with increasing reaction temperature (0-40 °C) however large liberation of nitrogen oxides was observe...
متن کاملPolyethylene Glycol-Mediated Synthesis of Cubic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles with High Heating Power
Iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles (IOMNPs) have been successfully synthesized by means of solvothermal reduction method employing polyethylene glycol (PEG200) as a solvent. The as-synthesized IOMNPs are poly-dispersed, highly crystalline, and exhibit a cubic shape. The size of IOMNPs is strongly dependent on the reaction time and the ration between the amount of magnetic precursor and PEG200 us...
